For information about homework, please refer to the two letters which are stuck into your child's homework book.  The children should bring their book bag, homework book and reading log to school every day.

Here are some useful links for home learning:

Basic facts can also be practised by quizzing your child orally or by making flashcards.  The aim is to recall the answer within 3 seconds. This includes missing number problems such as those on the Prototec website e.g. 3x?=45. Your child's basic facts stage is not their overall maths stage.  Basic facts is just one domain of the maths curriculum.  Knowing these facts will help them with strategies and problem solving.
